Had such a lovely dinner & dessert here after a long, rainy drive. Well worth the price! The fish was divine. Thanks again to Anna and Lily for the excellent service - so friendly and welcoming. Will be back again for sure! :)

Super friendly welcome, nice choice of brunch menu - not every day you can have a Craster kipper followed by homemade cakes - the perfect reward for a brisk walk on Alnmouth beach...

This has to be one of the best meals I have ever had. Save your money, don’t bother with the other pubs in the Village this has to be one of the best places to eat in the North East.

Enjoyed scones, cake and drinks in the day time but then this place transforms into a candle lit bistro in the evening with an interesting menu supplemented by seafood specials. Excellent food, wine and service. Tables are a bit tight but a lovely meal. Recommend booking well ahead as they had the full sign out every afternoon mid week in September.

Had a great meal here, food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. The owners were very welcoming, happy to have a quick chat, even when they are super busy, would definitely go back. Being a vegetarian is always slightly difficult but they catered for me too, we all said how great it was. Sorry the photo of desert was when it was finished, it was just too good and forgot to take a photo! 😋

Absolute perfection from start to finish. The team are all individually personable, very professional and refreshingly accommodating. A great selection of high quality drinks (the local ales are the best!) and the food... my goodness. Delicious and beautifully presented. The soup was full of flavour, the lamb was perfectly cooked and the chocolate mousse was light and fluffy. Even the bread was a treat. Fantastic atmosphere in a beautifully presented restaurant. Quite happily one of my new favourite eateries in the UK. Compliments and gratitude to the whole team!
